  • Add owner details or check the status of an existing inspection station license application

Read Important

Contact DPS at 1-512-424-7293 prior to submitting the station license application if the station you are applying for meets any of the following conditions:

  • The station has an Active (not expired) State of Texas Vehicle Inspection Station License
  • The station has a suspended or revoked State of Texas Vehicle Inspection Station License
  • The station license was previously suspended and the station license needs to be reinstated
  • The station is changing ownership
  • Any station owner has an international address
  • You are unsure of your station license status
